Germany's Deutsche Welle (DW) Akademie

Germany's Deutsche Welle (DW) Akademie is currently preparing a workshop on "Reporting on Regional Integration". This training focuses on subjects relating to political and economic cooperation between Southeast Asian countries (i.e. in the context of ASEAN) and is scheduled for August 05 - 16, 2013 in Yangon, Myanmar. DW Akademie will organize and cover economy class air travel and accommodation for all selected participants.
We would very much appreciate your help in finding suitable candidates for this workshop.
Applicants should fulfil these requirements:

Be citizens of the Philippines, Indonesia, Cambodia, Vietnam, Laos or Myanmar,
Be between 25 and 40 years old,
Work as journalists for print-media, news agencies or online-publications,
Have at least three years of professional experience,
Frequently report on political and/or economic issues,
Have excellent knowledge of English (oral and written skills, the workshop will be held in English)

Candidates should please read the provided information carefully and fill in the application form. Their superiors should please fill in the employer’s declaration. Both documents must be completed and signed. In addition, a motivation statement and two recent work samples are required. All documents should be submitted to dwa-asia@dw.de as pdf-files.
The deadline for submission is June 23, 2013.
